Popular Korean fried chicken joint Dak & Bop is heading to Timbergrove.

Owner Jason Cho told Chron.com he is launching the second location of the casual restaurant at 1805 West 18th Street in the space formerly occupied by Italian restaurant, La Vista 101. The first location of Dak & Bop, located at 1801 Binz in the Museum District, opened in 2014.

"I've been looking for a second location for more than a year. I was waiting for the right spot," Cho said.

Braun Enterprises looks to Long Point for next retail project

Braun Enterprises will launch a redevelopment of a 1960s era shopping on Long Point Drive aimed at bringing new retail and creative offices suites to the Spring Branch neighborhood.

The Houston company purchased the 70,000-square-foot shopping center at 8141 Long Point from Long Point Partners and renamed it Spring Branch Village. The planned redevelopment is to include a mix of restaurants, fitness, salon and other tenants.

Braun Enterprises buys office/retail complex near Galleria

Houston-based Braun Enterprises purchased an office and retail complex on a prime parcel along West Alabama just west of the Galleria.

The deal was announced by HFF, which marketed the property for Wedge Properties Management Corp.

The 196,000-square-foot property at 5353 and 5373 West Alabama, presents an opportunity for Braun Enterprises to renovate, rebrand and restock with new tenants serving both the neighborhood and office occupants.

Braun Enterprises puts urban office brand in Heights redevelopment

Houston-based Braun Enterprises unveiled plans to put its new brand of urban office space at its 2522 Yale redevelopment in the Heights. Additionally, F45 Training has signed up as a second retail tenant in the project.

F45 Training will occupy 3,000 square feet in a new fitness studio adjoining Bishops salon. Braun Enterprises is building out the space and will deliver it to tenants by October.

Braun Enterprises takes redevelopment formula to San Antonio with latest purchase

Houston-based Braun Enterprises has ventured into San Antonio with the acquisition of 84 NE Loop 410, also known as the Century Building.

The four-story, 187,000-square-foot building sits on 10 acres at Loop 410 at U.S. 281. Additional retail space and parking could be added to accommodate restaurants and stores, the company said.
